What You’ll DoLead Engaging Group Sessions
Facilitate dynamic, structured outpatient groups using evidence-based practices
Create a safe, supportive, and interactive environment that encourages participation and growth
Guide discussions on key recovery topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, and stages of change
Provide Individual Support
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions tailored to each client’s needs
Help clients build motivation, overcome barriers, and achieve treatment goals
Develop Meaningful Treatment Plans
Complete assessments and collaborate with clients to create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
Track progress and adjust plans to support long-term recovery success
Stay Organized & Compliant
Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time
Maintain records that meet regulatory, licensing, and insurance standards
Support Client Success
Collaborate & Grow Professionally
Work closely with a supportive clinical team and leadership
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and case conferences
What We’re Looking ForCADC Intern, CADC, or LCADC (New Jersey)
Experience or strong interest in facilitating group therapy
Knowledge of substance use treatment and recovery models
Strong organizational and documentation skills
A passion for helping diverse populations in a group setting
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!)Experience in outpatient or IOP programs
Familiarity with urine drug screening
Experience working with court-referred or probation clients
Comfort using electronic health record systems
