Job description

Camali Corp is looking for qualified Low Voltage technicians who can also project manage. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly wage, and health benefits. Our fast-moving environment is centered on teamwork and corporate family. We are looking for someone who is positive, organized, detail oriented, flexible, and a quick learner. 
Duties include but are not limited to:
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of low voltage cabling systems, including voice, data, security, access control, and audio/visual systems. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinating with clients to schedule job walks and assist with estimating work.
  • Manage projects from beginning to end.
  • Travel out of town for work.
  • Daily coordination of service calls and scheduling.
  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cable (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, coax, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
  • Install and configure network racks, patch panels, and cable trays
  • Perform cable labeling, dressing, and routing according to industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues and cable faults
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Willingness to be a team player in a drug free environment.
Requirements of a Low Voltage Technician:
  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation or related field
  • Knowledge of EIA/TIA standards and structured cabling practices
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in cable installation and testing
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in various environments (ceilings, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Ability to follow plans, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Certifications (e.g., BICSI, OSHA 10/30, manufacturer-specific training) are a plus
  • Must possess a clean DMV driving record.
