Job description

Position Overview:
Seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to supervise crews while also performing hands-on electrical work in a commercial/industrial/institutional setting. This is a working Foreman position reporting directly to the Superintendent.

Must have a Journeyman License in Iowa or any recipricol states.  Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day supervision of electrical crews
• Assign work and monitor productivity and quality
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings
• Coordinate and install conduit and cable tray
• Coordinate and set up large cable pulls
• Install switchgear, distribution panels, and transformers
• Install fire alarm and control systems
• Perform hands-on electrical installation as needed
• Coordinate work with the Superintendent and other trades
• Maintain jobsite safety and quality standards

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Foreman-level commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Experience supervising electrical crews
• Strong conduit and cable tray experience
• Experience coordinating large cable pulls
• Experience with switchgear, panels, and transformers
• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout
• Must be comfortable working alongside the crew
