Job Summary
A working member of the Clinton production team responsible for safely operating production equipment. Primary job function is the production of thermoplastic pellets. The production associate may blend/load raw materials, operate extrusion lines, and/or package out product to meet customer requirements. The person will be responsible for maintaining product quality and maintaining good housekeeping within the plant.
Essential Functions
  • Performs resin blending.
  • Retrieves and loads materials from staging areas.
  • May operate extruders.
  • Perform packaging procedures.
  • Perform rail car and seatainer bulk loading procedures.
  • Perform 50 lb. bag loading procedures.
  • Taking samples, inspecting final product, and making equipment rounds
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks associated with the production processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands
  • Work in plant floor environment. Temperature conditions can vary significantly. Work 12-hour shifts. This is a night shift 12-hour position 7:30 p.m. - 7:50 a.m. This is a Line Operator position which may progress to Senior Operator with skill verification by passing verification process. Must stand or walk most of work time. Job duties range from manual labor, to troubleshooting, and use of computerized equipment. Use of heavy motorized equipment including but not limited to fork trucks.
