Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Cable Operator to join our team at a leading steel building manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting heavy-duty cable to specific sizes for metal buildings according to customer orders. The position requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate cable-cutting machinery, cutting cable up to 1/2” in thickness.

· Measure and cut cable to specific lengths based on customer specifications.

· Follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy of cable cutting.

· Perform repetitive tasks with precision in a physically demanding environment.

· Safely handle heavy materials and equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.

· Keep workstations organized, clean, and properly stocked with necessary materials.

· Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and assist in resolving them.

· Work collaboratively with team members in the warehouse and cable operations areas.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
