Job description

Position: Accounting Intern

Location: Suwanee, GA, 30024

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

At CME Wire & Cable, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern who is ready to gain hands-on experience and learn how accounting supports real business operations.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with our CFO, Controller, and accounting team while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization. This is not a typical internship. You will be actively involved in day-to-day accounting activities, reporting, and process organization while gaining exposure to how financial decisions are made within a growing company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

โ€ข Assist the CFO, Controller, and Cash Management Leader with daily tasks and special projects

โ€ข Support accounting leadership with reporting, data organization, and general administrative tasks

โ€ข Assist with day-to-day accounting functions and financial processes

โ€ข Help organize, document, and improve accounting procedures

โ€ข Prepare basic reports, Excel spreadsheets, and reconciliations

โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy

โ€ข Provide support on additional projects and tasks as needed
