Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, label, and test **structured cabling systems** (CAT6/CAT6A, fiber optic โ€“ SM/MM)
  • Support cabling for **LAN, Wiโ€‘Fi, voice, CCTV, access control, nurse call, and medical devices**
  • Perform cable testing, certification, troubleshooting, and remediation
  • Maintain accurate **as-built documentation, labeling, port mapping, and rack layouts**
  • Coordinate with **network, desktop, biomedical, and facilities teams** during deployments and upgrades
  • Support hospital IT projects including **wards, clinics, labs, OTs, data centers, and clinics**
  • Ensure adherence to **hospital safety, infection control, and change management standards**
  • Work within defined **SLA, incident, and service request processes**

Technical Skills:**

  • Hands-on experience in **structured cabling (Copper & Fiber)**
  • Knowledge of **fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and cable certification tools**
  • Experience with **racks, patch panels, cable trays, and conduits**
  • Basic understanding of **network connectivity and LAN infrastructure**
  • Ability to read **floor plans and network diagrams**
  • Healthcare Environment Experience (Preferred):**ย 
  • Experience working in **live hospital or clinical environments**
  • Understanding of **patient safety, infection control, and low-voltage systems**
  • Ability to work in **24x7, mission-critical operations**

Experience & Qualifications:**

  • 2โ€“5 years** experience in structured cabling or network infrastructure
  • Healthcare, hospital, or mission-critical environment experience preferred
