Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining orderly, wellorganized storage areas and ensuring accurate receiving, rotation, and stocking of all products according to company standards. It requires strong inventory management skills, including monitoring stock levels, processing deliveries through MI9, and communicating effectively with the Retail Manager about discrepancies or concerns. The position also involves supervising staff, upholding safety procedures, supporting retail operations such as pricing and merchandising, and serving as a role model for lessexperienced employees. Additionally, the role demands reliability, the ability to work independently, and readiness to perform varied duties-including assisting other departments and completing store opening and closing tasks.

The Details:

  • Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal. There are NO full-time year-round positions available.Season Dates: Mid-May until mid-OctoberPay: $16.95/hrSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

Position Requirements:

  • Perform all duties with respect to the Company's Core Values, Mission Statement, and guest services standards.
  • Establish and maintain order in all storage areas at the Trail Ridge Store.
  • Rotate all product when appropriate, to represent a "First In-First Out" philosophy of product usage and identify expired products.
  • Organize and maintain all storage areas at the Trail Ridge Store.
  • Be able to recognize all product the warehouse delivers to the Trail Ridge store on a regular basis.
  • Accurate communication with Retail Manager is essential including notification of discrepancies and / or damaged items.
  • Oversee unloading of product from warehouse delivery truck and put away delivered items in their respective area per the storage map.
  • Open all deliveries, conduct pricing checks and input all receiving in MI9
  • Managing inventory: Monitor stock levels, oversee receipt and storage of goods, and ensure shipping orders are fulfilled accurately
  • Assist with unpacking, tagging and back stocking incoming merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedure.
  • Responsible for assisting with markups, markdowns, price changes of merchandise.
  • Stock product as necessary, making sure all displays are kept stocked, neat and clean.
  • Notify retail manager when new product arrives.
  • Assist in gift shop physical inventory, product transfers, and RTV's.
  • Carefully managing and packaging items for mail orders as well as fragile items for guests taking items home ( non-shipped items)
  • Ensure the warehouse items delivered and all storage locations are clean and organized while following safety guidelines.
  • Discuss concerns with the Retail Manager. Alert manager to potential shrinkage or product loss.
  • Supervise a team:ย Assignย tasks,ย monitorย performance,ย andย provideย guidanceย toย ensureย productivityย andย accuracyย 
  • Serve as a role model for less tenured and experienced staff through appropriate conduct, technique, etiquette, and dress code.
  • Implementing safetyย procedures:ย Ensureย complianceย withย safetyย regulationsย andย conductย regularย inspectionsย toย maintainย aย safeย workingย environmentย 
  • Perform duties outside the job classification assigned by management along with any other responsibilities deemed necessary.
  • Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of all product stored in warehouse.
  • Able to perform all necessary functions relative to the MI9 system including cash handling and register trained.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize your daily routine.
  • Demonstrate a intermediate understanding of retail procedures.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Opening and closing Trail Ridge store duties.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and concise manner.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate basic awareness of general shop security and theft prevention.
  • Must possess a non-CDL valid driver's license, and a clean record.
  • Assist food and beverage with warehouse truck deliveries as needed.

Physical Requirements include:

  • Candidate must be able to work, on occasion at an altitude of 12,000 feet.
  • Ability to stand/walk frequently throughout each shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs..
  • Must be able to bend down or kneel
  • Must be able to climb ladders as needed.
  • Must be able to work alone.
