Schedule: On-Call (Must be available to support scheduled Cabin Cleaner shifts as needed)

Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable and flexible individuals to join our Operations team as On-Call Cabin Cleaners at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). This position supports the regular Cabin Cleaner crew and plays a vital role in ensuring aircraft interiors remain clean, safe, and passenger-ready.

This role requires on-call availability, as team members will provide coverage for scheduled staff when additional support is needed.


Position Summary

The On-Call Cabin Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitized, and orderly aircraft interiors while supporting the primary Cabin Cleaner team. This role ensures compliance with airline, company, and TSA safety regulations and helps maintain operational efficiency by stepping in when coverage is required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide backup coverage for the Cabin Cleaner team as needed

  • Vacuum, wipe down surfaces, remove trash, and perform general aircraft cleaning duties

  • Restock and organize cleaning supplies

  • Conduct required aircraft searches in compliance with TSA procedures

  • Identify and report safety hazards, damages, or unusual findings

  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and use approved chemicals

  • Complete incident reports as necessary

  • Follow all Huntleigh USA, airline, and TSA policies and procedures

  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards


Qualifications
  • Ability to pass an FBI background check

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to work on short notice

  • Previous cleaning or fast-paced work experience preferred


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies

  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach all areas of the aircraft interior

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


Work Environment
  • Airport and aircraft setting with exposure to moderate noise levels

  • Possible exposure to outdoor weather conditions, fumes, and cleaning chemicals

  • Work around moving equipment and active flight operations

  • Company-issued uniform shirt and reflective safety vest will be provided and must be worn while on duty

  • Black pants or black slacks required (no jeans permitted)

  • Minimal jewelry; no excessive accessories

  • Hair must be neat and professional; long hair must be secured

  • Airport security badge must be visibly displayed at all times
