Job Title: CNC Turning Operator

Location: El Cajon, CA (Onsite)
Job Type: Long Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Operator to join our manufacturing team in El Cajon, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC turning/lathe machines to produce precision components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Experience with additional machining operations such as drilling, grinding, or milling is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC turning (lathe) machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Load raw materials, perform machine setup adjustments, and monitor machining operations.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Troubleshoot minor machining issues and report equipment problems as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience operating CNC Turning/CNC Lathe machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Understanding of machining tolerances and quality inspection practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
