 Network SME (NERC CIP) :: Louisville KY :: Onsite

Job Title: Network SME (NERC CIP)

Location: Louisville, KY (On-Site)

Mode: Contract (6+ Months)

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining a highly critical and redundant network infrastructure environment. Will be part of a team that is responsible for engineering and/or analytical activities associated with one or more technical areas such as, but not limited to:

  • Cisco switching
  • Cisco firewalls and associated management consoles
  • RSA Two-factor authentication
  • TACACS/ISE authentication
  • SolarWinds
  • Supporting all NERC CIP requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex network problems
  • Designing and implementing network solutions and/or improving the efficiency
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting EMS network equipment including firewalls and switches
  • Develop and implement firewall rules
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and perform required patching to ensure NERC CIP compliance following standard processes
  • Proactively review firewall rules for improving overall security posture
  • Implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or operations/user support
  • On-call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage

Must be able to get NERC CIP clearance
