The purpose of the Business Immigration Attorney at CIP, P.C., is to assist the assigned team in the review and filing of immigration casework.ย In this role, The Business Immigration Attorney will closely liaise with client contacts, provide strategic legal counsel, and help manage immigration programs. In-depth experience with high volume employment-based NIV and IV immigration cases, including PERM, I-140, AOS, H-1B, L-1, TN, and E visa matters is required within this role. It also requires legal research and preparation of complex written projects for immigration cases as well as reviewing work of Paralegals, to ensure accuracy and quality.ย
What you'll do:ย
- Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval including at least H-1B, I-140, I-485, and client-relevant NIV/IVย ย
- Perform client management and consult for Small Business potential clients, while also guiding clients through processesย
- Provide support to Managing Attorney on Enterprise clients as well as provide support and leadership to assigned team(s)ย
- May liaise with other attorneys or departments in the firm on projectsย
- Assistย with maintenance of casework quality and consistency on the assigned team(s)ย
- Evaluate cases andย assistย in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issuesย
- Provide coverage for attorneys on vacation and leave of absenceย
- Work closely with and mentor paralegals; May provide supervision of other employees, asย requiredย
- Perform reporting/auditing dutiesย ย
- Supplement andย maintainย knowledge of law and policy changesย
- Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda and/or legal briefsย
- Analyze facts, patterns, and complex legal issues toย provideย sound legal adviceย
- Prepare immigration-based filings for complex case managementย
- Gain rapport and foster strong relationships in a professional, proactive, considerate, and accountable way with clients, colleagues.

What you bring:ย
- Juris Doctor (JD) degreeย
- Admittance to the State Barย
- 1-3 years of related experienceย
- 1+ years of experience/proficiencyย level with PERMย
- Experience with H-1B, L-1,ย TNย and E visasย
- Track recordย of consistently meeting SLEs (Service Level Expectations)ย ย ย ย
- Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research toolsย
- Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms; Bilingual a plus, but notย requiredย
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client serviceย
- Youย exhibitย excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammarย
- Sharp eye for attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of workย ย
- Youย possessย an exceptional ability to analyze data and casesย
- Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a teamย
- Excellent organizational skills andย are able toย meet strict deadlinesย
- You are tech savvy andย possessย strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt toย state-of-the-artย Envoy Global case processing softwareย

Annual Salary Range: $70,000-$105,000
