Job description

Duties * This position is under the C4/Cyber Operations Division (J63) * At the GS-12 level you will perform developmental duties as they are assigned. * You will coordinate with stakeholders to identify key C4 requirements of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) across the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations.

* You will engage and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders to plan, implement, and/or review technical C4 issues and activities in support of operational priorities. * You will participate in operational planning efforts, exercises, forums, etc. to analyze risk and develop approaches and strategies for supporting C4 operational projects.

* You will generate and/or compile decision support products for command leadership. * You will prepare, present, and defend recommendations and planning products to senior leaders * You will manage projects as assigned and support innovation and further development of the organization and processes. Requirements Conditions of employment * Must be a US Citizen.

* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * This position is a Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level I position as described in the DoD Manual 8140.01 and aligned with the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF). * Failure to meet DoD Manual 8140.01 certification requirements within six months of hire may result in removal from the position.

Qualifications GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying enterprise architecture information, models and metrics sufficient to assess C4 support to OAIs, identify gaps and risks, and recommend courses of action to reduce risk. 2) Performing joint operational planning process, policies and methodologies sufficient to participate in operational planning teams, create supporting products, and communicate key operational planning information.

3) Demonstrating knowledge of cybersecurity principles and Cyber Operations including associated organizations, relationships, policy, and processes. GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing enterprise architecture information, models and metrics sufficient to assess C4 support to OAIs, identify gaps and risks, to assist with recommending courses of action to reduce risk.

2) Assisting with performing joint operational planning process, policies and methodologies sufficient to participate in operational planning teams, create supporting products, and communicate key operational planning information. 3) Demonstrating knowledge of cybersecurity principles and Cyber Operations including associated organizations, relationships, policy, and processes.
