Job Title: C# Developer Location: Houston, TX 77046 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 day a week in the office) Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 - 18 Months Contract (Possibility of FTE conversion) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM โ€“ 5 PM EST About the Role We are hiring a C# Developer to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative banking companies in the U.S. Youโ€™ll help drive business outcomes, tech goals, transformation, etc.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support high-performance C# desktop applications using WinForms and/or WPF for business-critical front-office systems. Build and enhance desktop-based trading and operational tools with a focus on scalability, responsiveness, and user experience. Implement parallel processing solutions to improve application performance and real-time data handling.

Develop and integrate web services and WCF-based components for distributed application communication. Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and developers to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements. Work with SQL Server for database design, query optimization, data retrieval, and backend support activities.

What Weโ€™re Looking For Strong experience in C# desktop application development with major exposure to WinForms and/or WPF. Hands-on experience asynchronous programming, and performance optimization in desktop applications. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and scalable application architecture.

Experience developing and consuming Web Services and WCF services in distributed systems. Strong SQL Server skills including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting. Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile/team-oriented environment.

Compensation Hourly Rate: $68 โ€“ $73 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
