Overview
The VP, Paid Search & AEO is responsible for leading the success of clients' paid and organic search efforts by providing thought leadership on campaign strategies and optimization, defining future of search road mapping, building strong relationships and establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal staff members. As a VP of Paid Search & AEO, you'll manage the strategy and oversee planning, optimization and reporting of client paid and organic search efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Provide vision, direction, management and support to individuals within the team to ensure their work aligns with our mission and goals
  • Motivate and manages paid search and AEO teams in the creation, development, and execution of campaigns and AEO workstreams to meet/exceed client expectations
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups
  • Develop action plans to achieve and measure success, including defining metrics, strategies for measurement and optimization, AEO project roadmap evolution, synergies between paid search and AEO.
  • Advocate the value of holistic search (paid search and AEO) and help educate clients, partners and internal teams on the latest developments and capabilities in this quickly evolving media channels
  • Lead presentations to both clients and internal teams showcasing our vision for and the benefits of a holistic search approach with customized strategies for each client
  • Introduces Process Development Input, Quality Assurance and Best Practices Input
  • Collaborates with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions for clients
  • Keeps senior management appraised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business
  • Prepares and presents staffing plans in conjunction with Performance department lead and Investment leads
  • Develops a complete understanding of client goals, markets, needs and expectations
  • Works within client relationships to champion initiatives that drive marketing decisions across all search/AEO related channels and those impacted by AEO efforts specifically
  • Attends client meetings on ongoing basis, interface as needed with key contacts client side during meetings and presentations
  • Advocates across functional areas within client relationships (e.g. IT professionals, marketing/product managers, C-level executives) to develop rapport and deliver complex solutions
  • Supports the development and documentation of methodologies and tools to improve operational efficiencies within the team and the group
  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients' business objectives
  • Establishes expectations and goals for team on performance marketing and thought leadership

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10+ years of digital media experience
  • 7+ years years' experience direct search campaign management
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • 4+ years managing external partner & client relationships
  • HCP/DTC/Pharma experience
  • SEO/AEO experience

Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 - USD $214,620.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
