In 2019, Byrne & Jones Construction expanded its services to Columbus, OH, with the same founding principle - build the company with great people, take care of our customers, and do what it takes to get the job done right.
We are looking for experienced Asphalt Laborers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a team committed to getting the job done right.
Responsibilities
  • Assist crew members in the completion of work where required
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations within the paving crew.
  • Assist in the distribution of hot mix asphalt onto prepared surfaces using lutes, shovels, and other hand tools.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, customers, and the public.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in asphalt paving operations.
  • Willing to work occasional weekends, and unexpectedly longer hours when necessary.
