Position Summary:

Repairs, maintains and overhauls fleet of school buses.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must possess or obtain a valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements within 12 months of employment.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs various repairs, maintenance and modifications to school buses
  • Examines vehicles and assesses the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
  • Plans work and repairs procedures
  • Prepares paperwork for all repairs
  • Transfers buses as needed
  • Maintains work area
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Pay Grade: Grade II/Step
