And we are looking for someone to be our Bartender.
The Bartender is an hourly position, responsible for the service and bar function at events. The scope of this position considers interaction with clients and their guests, proper bar service etiquette and procedures, teamwork, and the ability to follow the professional service guidelines set forth by Butler's Pantry. The Event Bartender has the responsibility and opportunity to contribute to a memorable event through ownership of the service role.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff)
โ€ข Ensure the bar area is properly set-up which may include tables, linens, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and water pitchers
โ€ข Knowledge of various cocktail recipes, wine packages and varietals, liquor and beer brands and styles
โ€ข Knowledge and commitment to proper pour etiquette with wine and spirits
โ€ข Practice responsible alcohol service and monitoring guests to ensure no one is overserved
โ€ข Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring product is stocked and accessible
โ€ข Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the event space
โ€ข Break down the bar at the end of the event in an organized fashion, following all guidelines with packing and cleanliness
โ€ข Assist other team members with their tasks, including loading and unloading the truck
โ€ข Greet, interact with, and serve all guests in a positive and professional manner, remaining attentive throughout the event
โ€ข Maintain sense of urgency when on the service floor and throughout the event
โ€ข Maintain focus on assignment at all times in an effort to maximize efficiency, quality and productivity
โ€ข Maintaining a professional demeanor before, during, and after events in order to meet the high-quality expectations set forth by Butler's Pantry
โ€ข Cooperate with Service Captains and co-workers to resolve service and event related issues in a timely and professional manner

โ€ข 6 months to 1 year industry-relevant experience preferred
โ€ข Must work at least 40 hours in a six month period
โ€ข Ability to work a sometimes physically demanding position that requires standing for long periods of time and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 75lbs).
