Job description

We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic, takes direction well, and communicates easily with customers and team members. The busser-server assistant works closely with our main servers to make sure customers get their food on time, and their beverage glasses stay filled. You’ll be responsible for clearing plates and cleaning the table when customers leave, and then resetting it with tableware for the next guests.


A sense of urgency and organization is required to keep the kitchen and server stations fully stocked with condiments and other food items. You’ll learn our menu to address customer questions and alert servers when customers need them. You should be familiar with food safety rules and have some food service experience. This is a full-time position.

Compensation:

$18 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Show customers to their tables, address any requests from customers, and respond to them in a timely manner
  • Responsible for delivering food to the table on time, making sure to ask if customers need anything more before leaving
  • Bring customers beverages, refill glasses, bring extra plates or napkins to customers, and make sure condiments are refilled and brought to the table
  • Clean and clear tables of debris and bring dirty dishes to the kitchen to be washed. Prepare tables for the next guests
  • Oversee restaurant stock and refill condiments as needed. Make sure each waiter station is filled with all the needed items

Qualifications:
  • Has the ability to stand, bend, and lift for longer periods of time for the duration of the shift
  • Know the basics of how to handle food items and kitchen equipment
  • Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED
  • Experience working in the food services or QSR industry is preferred
  • Prepared to work nights, weekends, some holidays and help out team members with shifts when needed
