TITLE: UAT Test Team Lead - 031615

LOCATION: Seattle, WA

6 months contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. User Acceptance Test lead will work and specialize as a subject matter expert in testing and validating that Business requirements have been implemented as required prior to project go-live.

a. Will need to learn about the project, processes

b. Participate in the Universe 2.0 Test status, meetings and provide status

c. Participate in the New Financing System project meetings and provide status

2. Will work with T-Mobile Business UAT team and represent the Business end-user through the project development lifecycle

3. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate User acceptance testing events to test and verify that solutions and tools meet the requirements set out by Business stakeholders for successful project delivery.

4. Candidate will work closely with Business subject matter experts, IT teams and the Program management team to deliver high quality UAT testing events that support and enable successful project deployment.

5. Candidate will demonstrate strong disciplined work ethic, leadership, communication and organizational skills, with a proven track record in leading and driving teams to deliver test oriented projects successfully.


Key Responsibilities:

a. Establish, own and drive UAT testing activities from start to finish for assigned projects.

b. Responsible for UAT planning, test case specification, test execution, defect management and test status reporting activities.

c. Required to participate in data mining and review forum activities to understand requirements, business processes and solution designs.

d. Create and manage a UAT plan for each UAT event.

e. Identify and manage risks, issues, mitigations and action items to closure, as they pertain to UAT.

f. Define UAT entry/exit criteria and contribute to the on-going development of UAT process and KPIs.

g. Source and manage the appropriate resources (people, tools, equipment) to successfully deliver high quality UAT events.

h. Lead and manage quality focused UAT test execution events, in alignment with UAT entry/exit criteria, timeline, budgetary and resourcing constraints.

i. Participate in and facilitate post-launch Business verification testing activities for projects, as required.

j. Capture UAT lessons learned and implement agreed changes to UAT process to address gaps and improve UAT effectiveness, as required.
