Job description

We're seeking someone to join our Global Supplier Services (GSS) team as a Business Unit Relationship Manager, VP providing execution, coordination, and enablement support to the Business Unit Relationship Sourcing Lead. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent, timely, and high quality delivery of sourcing services to the business by supporting intake, coordinating sourcing activity, maintaining lifecycle visibility, and enabling effective execution across initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:
- Act as the primary day to day execution and coordination support for the Business Unit Relationship Sourcing Lead
- Support intake, clarification, tracking, and routing of sourcing demand across Technology, Professional Services, Non IT, and other spend categories
- Assist in managing sourcing workflows, priorities, and follow ups across active initiatives
- Prepare materials for business unit discussions, leadership updates, and decision forums
- Track key milestones across renewals, negotiations, and sourcing initiatives to ensure momentum and follow through
- Maintain visibility into the business unit sourcing pipeline, active initiatives, and upcoming demand
- Support consistent application of Global Supplier Services policies, governance, and sourcing standards
- Identify execution risks, issues, or bottlenecks and escalate as appropriate
- Assist with commercial summaries, analyses, dashboards, and business unit level reporting.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, commercial management, or business operations
- Strong organizational, coordination, and follow through skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced, matrixed environment
- Clear and effective communication skills, with comfort interacting with business and functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with sourcing or contract management tools is a plus
- Experience within financial services or a large enterprise environment preferred
- Exposure to Technology, Professional Services, or enterprise vendor ecosystems preferred
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders or relationship managers preferred

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $182,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
