Summary
The Manager, Global Business Sales (West Region) position will be handling Key Client Accounts to manage and grow strategic customer relationships for our freight forwarding and NVOCC business. This role supports key accounts across ocean, air, inland, warehousing, and multi-modal logistics, ensuring exceptional service while driving profitable growth.
Compensation Range
$101,000 - $115,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for assigned key clients, ensuring service excellence and proactive support
    • Manage customer KPIs, conduct business reviews, and lead retention/growth strategies
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across ocean, air, inland, and any other value-added services
    • Coordinate internally with Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, and Carrier Teams to resolve escalations
    • Prepare quotes, RFQ responses, and commercial proposals
    • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to strengthen client value
    • Maintain accurate CRM activity and reporting
  • Strategic Planning & Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service offerings and align with global customer trends
    • Lead cross-functional projects to optimize global-to-local supply chain integration
    • Provide market intelligence to support investment decisions in infrastructure and capacity
  • Customer On-boarding & Support
    • Lead implementation of new accounts including contract setup, integration, and training
    • Support issue resolution and act as escalation point for complex customer concerns
    • Develop long-term account plans focusing on mutual growth, innovation, and partnership
    • Other duties as assigned

  • 1- 3 years of supervisory experience Required
