The Aftermarket Business Analyst plays a key role in helping BW Packaging grow its parts business through data-driven insight and action. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data, partnering across functions, and influencing decisions that improve customer outcomes and BW Packaging's growth. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth
  • Identify growth opportunities across product lines, customer segments, and regions through strategic analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute proactive selling strategies
  • Develop competitive intelligence on aftermarket parts resellers, including pricing models, customer targeting strategies, and market positioning
  • Identify high-impact campaign opportunities to regain share and optimize volume

Data Integrity
  • Ensure accuracy of data used across the BW Packaging parts ecosystem to ensure correct performance metrics and incentive outcomes
  • Build and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the aftermarket process to drive consistency of best practices across the business

Inventory & Demand Optimization
  • Analyze inventory performance, including slow-moving and excess stock, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize working capital
  • Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and installed base needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in analytics, finance/accounting, business, supply chain, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Passion for leveraging new approaches (including AI) in developing solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
  • Experience with ERP systems and data governance processes
  • Experience in aftermarket parts or manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of pricing strategy, margin analysis, and value optimization

Location/Travel Requirement
  • This is a primarily in-office position at our St. Louis, MO headquarters
  • Up to 15% travel, with more travel expected in the first 6 -12 months
