Job description

The Plasma Strategy Sr. Analyst plays a key role in supporting the execution of Grifols’ Plasma Procurement division’s strategic agenda across six core mandates: strategic projects, competitive strategy, footprint optimization, strategy execution, strategic planning and chief of staff support.

This role is key in enabling effective decision-making, ensuring governance discipline and providing analytical and strategic insights to guide Plasma Procurement’s long-term direction

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen and excellent communication capabilities to prepare executive materials, coordinate strategic projects and translate data into clear and actionable recommendations for the Plasma Leadership team.

1.Strategic Analyses and Projects

  • Conduct analyses and projects that address key business challenges and opportunities to support the Division’s strategic priorities
  • Scope and structure problem statements, gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and translate finding into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Prepare concise executive deliverables summarizing insights, scenarios and proposed actions to facilitate informed decision-making

2. Competitive Strategy

  • Analyze industry trends and competitor performance to benchmark the Grifols Plasma positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Contribute to defining Grifols Plasma’s winning strategy by translating market insights and providing the leadership team with a competitive playbook
  • Perform ad-hoc deep-dives on specific centers or regions to provide the Leadership Team with fact-based view of performance and competitive standing

3. Footprint Optimization and Network Strategy

  • Support the assessment and optimization of the plasma collection network to ensure an efficient and cost-effective footprint aligned with supply & demand scenarios
  • Analyze site performance to identify opportunities for expansion, relocation, or consolidation
  • Provide data and recommendations that guide long-term footprint and investment decisions
  • Coordinate and drive the celebration of the Footprint Committee

4. Strategy Execution

  • Provide oversight of the entire project portfolio within the Plasma area, identify and analyze gaps between current performance and long-term goals, proposing and following up on corrective actions to close these gaps
  • Offer guidance and support to project teams, facilitating decision-making and helping to overcome obstacles
  • Coordinate and drive the effective operation of the Project Committee
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Corporate Strategy Office and Plasma Procurement

5. Strategic Planning

  • Provide support for LRP updates by providing guidance on footprint decision-making and evaluating Plasma project impacts

6. Chief of Staff Support

  • Support the preparation of materials, reports, and analyses for the Plasma President
  • Act as a strategic though partner for the Plasma Leadership Team
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure strategic priorities are effectively communicated and executed across the organization
  • Support in the preparation of presentations to Grifols top management

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and synthesize complex information
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear and impactful executive materials
