About our Team:
The Platform Solution Development team supports the shared insurance platform by leading business analysis, solution design, requirements definition, and solution enablement across platform modernization and operational enablement initiatives. The team works across product, technology, operations, and support to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions across both existing monolithic platform infrastructure and modernized API-driven and batch-enabled capabilities.
We operate in a collaborative, cross-functional environment focused on clear ownership, consistent requirements practices, strong solution design standards, and continuous improvement. The team is dedicated to improving solution quality, delivery efficiency, requirements reuse, reduced rework, and steady progress toward standardized, platform-aligned solution patterns.
About the Role:
The Manager, Platform Solution Development leads the definition, delivery, and continuous improvement of business analysis and solution design capabilities across the shared insurance platform. This role is accountable for ensuring business needs are clearly translated into high-quality, scalable solutions that support platform modernization, operational enablement, accuracy, traceability, and continuity.
You will help establish Platform Solution Development as a core organizational capability by driving consistent requirements practices, clear ownership of solution design, and effective collaboration across teams. This role also includes people management responsibility for recruiting, developing, coaching, and managing the performance of a team of Business Analysts, while informally leading cross-functional contributors across product, technology, operations, and support.
This role is based in Alpharetta, GA, with an expectation of three days per week in office.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the end-to-end solution lifecycle by aligning customer needs, business priorities, and platform capabilities.

  • Defining strategy and roadmap priorities that balance business value, delivery efficiency, and technical constraints.

  • Driving solution decisions that support scalable, reusable, platform-aligned outcomes.

  • Leading the creation and management of requirements artifacts including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

  • Ensuring strong documentation standards, requirements traceability, and alignment between business needs and technical delivery.

  • Building and evolving the Business Analysis function by setting standards, coaching analysts, improving practices, and developing team capability.

  • Hiring, developing, coaching, and managing Business Analysts with a focus on accountability, sustainable performance, and delivery quality.

  • Communicating clearly, actively listening, building trust, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders across business, product, engineering, operations, and support.

  • Translating complex business needs into actionable solution designs and explaining technical concepts in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Using data, KPIs, and structured analysis to guide solution decisions, identify trends and risks, and improve solution quality and delivery outcomes.

  • Applying technical and platform understanding of APIs, data models, integration patterns, XML, JSON, workflow automation, low-code capabilities, and modern platform architectures.

  • Working across monolithic and modernized technology environments to support platform modernization and operational enablement initiatives.

  • Setting clear expectations, creating accountability, motivating teams, and driving delivery against defined goals and performance metrics.

  • Navigating conflict constructively, influencing decisions, and driving outcomes in complex cross-functional environments.

  • Fostering innovation and continuous improvement by identifying high-impact opportunities and improving requirements practices, processes, and solution delivery approaches.

  • Taking ownership of personal growth by seeking feedback, learning from experience, leveraging networks, and aligning development plans with evolving business needs.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, solution development, product solution leadership, or a related discipline.

  • Experience developing and executing complex requirements and solution designs across enterprise-scale systems.

  • Track record of hiring, developing, coaching, and managing people, ideally including Business Analysts.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical subject such as Computer Science or Engineering, or in a business discipline, preferred but not required.

  • MBA or management degree desirable.

  • Strong understanding of business analysis practices, requirements lifecycle management, solution design, documentation standards, and traceability.

  • Experience onboarding products, services, and features onto enterprise platforms and translating business needs into scalable solution designs.

  • Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, data models, XML, JSON, workflow automation, low-code capabilities, and modern platform architectures.

  • Experience working across monolithic and modernized technology environments.

  • Ability to use data, KPIs, and structured analysis to guide decisions, identify trends and risks, and improve outcomes.

  • Strong communication, active listening, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across business and technology audiences.

  • Ability to navigate conflict constructively, build trust, create alignment, and drive outcomes in cross-functional environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to set expectations, create accountability, motivate teams, and deliver against goals and performance metrics.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $118,300 - $219,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
