Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Sr Business Analyst/Business Unit Analystย to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville, TN.ย This is a hybrid position working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Fridayย for a total of 37.5 hours. The pay rate for this position is $46.50 per hour.

Business Unit Analyst Job Summary:
The Business Unit Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and the HRTS development team. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements to support enhancements and maintenance of the Hospital Reporting Tracking System (HRTS). The analyst works closely with business units to understand operational needs, translate those needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage work items through Azure DevOps. In addition, the Business Unit Analyst coordinates with hospitals and business partners to support the implementation and ongoing integration of US SAFR with HRTS, ensuring business processes, data exchanges, and system functionality meet operational and regulatory requirements. The analyst will participate in solution design, testing, user acceptance activities, training, and post-implementation support while promoting continuous process improvement and effective communication between business and technical teams. Applicants must reside in the state of Tennessee and be local to the Nashville area as in-person meetings will be required periodically.

Business Unit Analyst Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Create and manage user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define business needs and prioritize enhancements.
  • Work with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
  • Coordinate user Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate completed functionality.
  • Support implementation and integration of US SAFR between hospitals and HRTS.
  • Document business processes, workflows, and system changes.
  • Provide production support, issue analysis, and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement of HRTS functionality and business processes.

Experience & Qualifications for Business Unit Analyst position:
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems, hospital workflows, or health IT integrations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
