Job Overview

The Wealth Management team is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment advisory program solutions. This includes the investment product offering, pricing, advisor/client experience, and promotional activities. The team’s goal is to enhance our advisors’ and investors’ experience while helping to improve our firm’s economic and risk profiles. The Senior Vice President of Centrally Managed Advisory Programs is responsible for the health, strategy, and evolution of the business line. It leads the teams that oversee LPL’s centrally managed advisory programs and tax management capabilities across the firm’s various business channels. This includes the strategy of the programs, delivery of initiatives, and working across the organization on the management of the programs. The programs include Unified Managed Account (UMA), Separately Managed Account (SMA) and MF/ETF wrap programs. The teams’ activities enable the firm to reach its goals related to advisory program adoption, asset growth, risk management, and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Leveraging industry network and insights to assess LPL’s competitive position and create various strategies that evolve the programs in alignment with the firm’s objectives
  • Distilling the strategies into discrete business opportunities, gaining alignment within the firm, and ultimately securing funding and capacity to proceed
  • Shepherding initiatives to completion across multiple business, product, technology, operations, and field stakeholders
  • Specific focus on supporting the build out of emergent capabilities within the UMA and tax capabilities across the LPL ecosystem.
  • Presenting at various LPL and industry events to drive LPL advisor engagement and enhance the firms’ competitive intelligence
  • Engaging with teams across LPL to understand the advisor experience, risk management needs, economics / product mix shift, and the positioning & delivery of the programs

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA or MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of experience with 10+ years of specific experience in managing investment advisory platforms
  • Knowledgeable on the advisory landscape with a focus on advisor platform experience and UMAs including familiarity with competition (wire houses, technology platform providers, IB/Ds, TAMPs, etc.), platform/ product trends and industry regulation
  • Understanding of investment products, advisory / industry economics, and regulatory challenges
Pay Range

$201,365.00 - $335,677.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
