Trane Technologies is looking to hire a Value Stream Experience Owner to oversee end to end user experience for strategic initiatives such as the WorkSight program and Oracle ERP implementation and execution of other strategic projects.

This individual is an integral part of the IT Business Strategy Partner team, ensuring the effective use of our existing applications and processes to create seamless user experiences that enable efficient business processes. This individual is a critical knowledge expert that will work across multiple business users, business process owners, product owners, and development teams to design efficient business process flow across the Equipment value stream, supporting the overall strategic organizational objectives of Trane Technologies.

REPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures alignment of all impacted business process owners for the value stream including acquisition, fulfillment and post-sale activities.
  • Lead value stream business process definition and documentation related to how Trane sells, fulfills and supports our business revenue streams in collaboration with business teams.
  • Identifies and understands and documents user personas and journey maps. Can speak with authority about the entire process flow including hand-offs between personas.
  • Identifies opportunities to deliver business process improvements across the entire value stream and works with business process owners, architects, business strategy partners, product owners, IT product analysand stakeholders to include improvements in working team priorities and roadmaps.
  • Reviews and analyzes new project requests to define impacted process steps, users, and teams to ensure all stakeholders will be represented in process design, requirements gathering, and system solution confirmations to deliver efficient user experiences.
  • Lead collaboration with impacted process owners, product owners, and business functions to ensure alignment across revenue streams.
  • Learns and teaches how business processes utilize end user tools to enable a seamless end to end value stream.
  • Aligns to Senior Business Strategy Partner vision to recommend alternate, innovative solutions and consistently gains agreement about best user experiences
  • Aligned with Value Stream Architects on target state architecture and collaborates to blend those core applications into an efficient user experience.
  • Travel (25% depending on location and projects)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.

  • Process knowledge of the Trane Commercial Equipment acquisition and fulfillment processes utilized to serve our customers.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a large team and work autonomously to optimize an end to end value stream.
