SUMMARY

The Business Process Automation Analyst is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting automation solutions that improve reporting efficiency, streamline business processes, and reduce manual work across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders to document requirements, evaluate automation opportunities, and implement practical solutions using reporting tools, workflows, and emerging AI technologies.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reporting & Process Automation 30%

  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and manual business processes.

  • Develop and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and data workflows.

  • Create and support automated notifications, alerts, and scheduled reporting processes.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes and reporting.

  • Process Improvement 25%

  • Document current business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Perform process mapping and workflow analysis.

  • Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Monitor automation performance and recommend enhancements.

  • AI & Emerging Technology Support 20%

  • Evaluate and test AI-powered tools and automation technologies.

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of AI agents and workflow automations.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business systems, automation, or process improvement.

  • Experience using Excel and reporting tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft Fabric.

  • Basic SQL knowledge.

  • Exposure to Python or scripting languages.

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI agents.

  • Experience documenting business processes and requirements.

  • Financial services experience preferred.

COMPENSATION
  • The salary range for this position is competitive based on the job duties as well as the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience of the selected candidate.

  • This position is eligible for Semi Annual Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
