Depending on the company for which you work, your job duties may include evaluating initiatives related to software or systems implementation, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring that departments comply with policies and procedures. Qualifications for this career include a few years of experience in quality assurance and process improvement as well as specialized skills, such as analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and computer literacy. A bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or a related subject is necessary. Some business process associates have advanced degrees, such as an MBA.
