About the Team:

AlphaSense's Content Operations Strategy and Enablement (COSE) team is responsible for establishing the strategy and infrastructure to drive sustainable and scalable growth for our Expert Calls and Compliance Operations organizations. We work closely with client-facing and cross-functional teams to drive impact across AlphaSense's Expert Insights organization. Our team is organized into the following pillars:

  • Systems Strategy: drives operational excellence through the strategic deployment of technology solutions, advanced analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Vendor, Data, and Product partners
  • Enablement: supports our teams to do their best work through employee training, communications, and knowledge management
  • Strategy & Planning: steers the organization towards growth through quarterly / annual planning, account strategy, performance management, and operational strategy initiatives
  • Compliance Programs: leverages systems, technology, and data to support compliance teams and processes
  • Business Operations & Strategy: identifies and executes top-line growth and bottom-line optimization initiatives

About the Role: 

As the Manager, Systems Strategy, you'll own the operational infrastructure behind the Expert Insights team. You'll lead systems strategy, evaluate and manage the vendor tool stack, and drive initiatives that improve speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the business. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operations. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, IT, Legal, and leadership to identify smarter tools, automate key processes, and build the roadmap for how work gets done. You'll also manage a team of two Associates and serve as the go-to partner for cross-functional teams on all things systems and tooling. This is a high-impact, execution-oriented role for someone who's curious, data-driven, and energized by turning ambiguity into clarity.

Who You Are:
  • 4+ years driving operational excellence in business operations, internal strategy, and/or enablement or related high-impact roles; experience leading teams or large cross-functional initiatives
  • Track record of partnering with Product, Engineering, IT, and Legal to design and implement tools and processes
  • Experience managing budgets, optimizing vendor costs, and negotiating contracts
  • Experienced in systems strategy, roadmapping, implementation, and architecture design
  • Strong communicator with change management experience; able to translate complex topics for cross-functional audiences
  • Experience with Data/BI Tools (Excel, Tableau, Snowflake), No-Code Tools (Zapier, Make), and Sales Engagement tools (Salesforce, Simon Data, Gong, Mixmax, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level; comfortable doing the work and shaping the direction
  • Has grown within or across roles, taking on increasing scope and ownership over time
  • Brings a leadership presence; can influence and align stakeholders without direct authority
  • Curious, data-driven, and adaptable; comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Do: 

  • Build and execute the strategy for Expert Insights systems and internal tooling
  • Manage and own relationships with cross-functional groups such as IT, Procurement, Accounting, Engineering and Product, serving as an advocate for Expert Insight users
  • Lead high-impact optimization initiatives by identifying and executing automation opportunities that reduce costs and unlock operational efficiency at scale
  • Build and document systems and processes with scalability and knowledge transfer in mind
  • Own the Expert Insights vendor tool stack end to end, running procurement, budgeting, cost management, and system administration activities
  • Support and contribute to team and org-wide strategic planning cycles
  • Own the operational health of a 400+ person organization; setting the standard for how support functions run, scale, and improve over time
  • Lead and manage a team of two Associates

Total Cash Compensation Range: $135,700 - $174,000 (Base: $115,000 - $145,000 + 18% - 20% Bonus).
