What You Will Be Doing:
As the Business Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the support execution of the company's Enterprise Capabilities Program and other strategic digital initiatives by providing strong operational coordination, visibility, and follow through. This role is focused on turning strategy into structured plans, tracked commitments, and consistent execution across sales, operations, IT, marketing, and field teams to ensure that Yancey Bros. Co. is the North America leader in the Enterprise Capabilities Program.
This is an in-person role that requires 8-hour days/5 days a week at our office in Austell, Georgia. No sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support execution of the Enterprise Capabilities Program by tracking required activities, milestones, deliverables, and readiness criteria.
  • Maintain program workplans, timelines, action logs, and execution trackers.
  • Coordinate inputs across internal teams to ensure enterprise capability requirements are understood, aligned, and completed on schedule.
  • Prepare clear, executive-ready status updates, dashboards, and supporting materials.
  • Identify execution risks, gaps, or delays and escalate with recommended mitigation actions.
  • Work closely with Caterpillar to identify best practices, changes, and priorities.
  • Provide operational support across multiple digital initiatives (eCommerce, telematics, digital onboarding, adoption, enablement, and related platforms).
  • Track cross-program dependencies, action items, and ownership to ensure alignment and reduce execution friction.
  • Support governance routines including cadence meetings, agendas, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Help standardize operational artifacts such as templates, trackers, scorecards, and reporting formats
  • Act as a coordination point between business teams, IT, vendors, and field stakeholders.
  • Translate enterprise initiatives into clear operational tasks and expectations.
  • Ensure information flows consistently across teams to maintain alignment and accountability.
  • Maintain program-level KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards tied to enterprise capabilities and digital execution.
  • Compile insights from multiple data sources into clear, leadership-ready summaries.
  • Monitor progress against commitments and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support leadership decision-making through accurate, timely, and actionable reporting.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business operations, program support, project coordination, or digital operations roles.
  • Experience building and maintaining trackers, dashboards, timelines, and executive summaries.
  • Experience supporting enterprise programs or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in a dealer or OEM organization.

  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating across multiple workstreams. This position plays a critical role in ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities are clearly defined, monitored, and acted upon.
