Clarasight

Job description

About Us
Join us in building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $4T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.
About You
You are an operator at heart-curious, systematic, and energized by making things run better. You thrive in early-stage environments where processes are still being built and every improvement you make has an immediate impact. You don't just go along for the ride. You act as a driver, not a passenger, spotting inefficiencies and fixing them before anyone has to ask.
You're comfortable moving between people, process, and tooling in the same week. You get satisfaction from a well-designed workflow, a clean CRM, or a hiring process that just works. You want to be part of a small team where your contributions have outsized influence, and where the foundations you build today scale with the business.
About the Role
  • We are seeking a Business Operations Associate to join our founding team. As one of our first operations hires, you'll help build the internal systems and processes that keep Clarasight running smoothly as we scale.
  • This is not a narrow, task-execution role. You will work across revenue operations, people ops, process design, and automation to make the whole business more efficient and effective.
  • You'll collaborate closely with leadership, sales, and recruiting to identify where things are breaking down and build solutions that last. You'll move quickly, wear multiple hats, and help define the operational foundations that will grow with us through Series A and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
  • GTM Operations - Own the systems and workflows that keep Clarasight's go-to-market motion running smoothly. Keep the CRM clean and well-structured, ensure handoffs between marketing and sales work seamlessly, and make sure the team has the tooling and processes it needs to execute effectively.
  • Process Design & Tooling - Identify friction across the business and design better processes. Evaluate, implement, and manage internal tools that improve how teams work, from onboarding to execution.
  • Automation & Optimization - Build automations that eliminate repetitive manual work across sales, hiring, and internal operations. Look for opportunities to do more with less through smart system design.
  • Global Operations - Support hiring coordination, onboarding, and the people processes that make Clarasight a great place to work. Help build the operational infrastructure and cultural foundations that scale as we grow the team across geographies.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You...
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in operations, consulting, or a similar role, ideally at a startup or fast-moving company.
  • Are highly organized and take pride in keeping systems clean and processes consistent.
  • Are comfortable working across tools like HubSpot, Notion, Slack, or similar, and quick to learn new ones.
  • Have a builder's mindset and look for ways to automate or improve before accepting the status quo.
  • Can communicate clearly with people across functions and seniority levels.
  • Are energized by variety and thrive when no two weeks look the same.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments where the playbook is still being written.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience working with or administering a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Make, or similar.
  • Exposure to recruiting coordination or people operations.
  • Experience at a Series A or early-stage startup.
  • Background in SaaS, travel, or enterprise software.
  • Experience working alongside AI systems and applying human judgment to automated outputs.
Diverse Perspectives
We know that innovation thrives on teams where diverse points of view come together to solve hard problems in ways that are just now possible. As such, we explicitly seek people that bring diverse life experiences, diverse educational backgrounds, diverse cultures, and diverse work experiences. Please be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our team.
