ABOUT THE POSITION

The Equipment Sales Operations Supervisor will work primarily with the Astec Eugene-Franklin Boulevard (Johnson Crushers International) site to oversee day to day activities of equipment sales orders from quote to delivery.  Provide key support in the development of streamlined equipment sales processes. Assist with workflow projects across all MS sites as needed. This role will help ensure that customer expectations are exceeded by maintaining Astec core values throughout all aspects of the job.

Key Deliverables

  • Work with functional areas to develop consistent communication and reporting on equipment scheduling, order status and shipments
  • Accurate and thorough order processing including execution of ASC 606 contract reviews and compliance with audit requirements

§  Develop best practices related to customer shipments to facilitate revenue planning

  • Lead all activities from quote to cash for systems/project orders

 

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Key liaison in equipment scheduling
  • Assist in streamlining inside sales processes across MS sites
  • Support team with purchase order reviews to ensure agreement to quoted terms and product specifications
  • Lead Eugene site in coordination of equipment shipments including working with customers, freight carriers and freight forwarders

 

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

§  Bachelor’s degree in related field

§  Minimum 5 years career experience in sales or business operations.

§  Knowledge of AutoCad and 3D design software desired

§  Experience with Microsoft Office systems, ERP and CRM systems

  • Employee must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills and be resourceful
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and direct the activities of others
  • Work independently in a fast-faced environment and effectively manage workload
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment with good problem solving and negotiation skills
