Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Business Solutions Specialist to support the improvement, and ongoing optimization of our ERP systems and business processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze operational needs, improve workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and support users across the organization.

The ideal candidate has experience with ERP systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of business operations, data management, and process improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with ERP system improvements, upgrades, and ongoing optimization
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with departments including operations, procurement, accounting, sales, and inventory management to improve system workflows
  • Configure, test, and support ERP modules and integrations
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and provide user support and training
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and reporting tools
  • Assist with data migration, validation, and system setup activities
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business operations
  • Coordinate with software vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on projects and system enhancements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to business systems and operational processes
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems


Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems implementation, administration, and support
  • Strong understanding of business operations, workflows, and process improvement
  • Experience with ERP platforms. SYSPRO experience would be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with reporting tools, SQL, or data analysis is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading or supporting ERP implementation projects
  • Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, accounting, manufacturing, or distribution processes
  • Experience with system integrations and workflow automation
  • Project management experience is an asset
