Overview
The Service Owner partners with Digital Engineering leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and execution across the engineering organization. This role establishes and manages eadership operating rhythms, coordinates strategic initiatives, maintains visibility into engineering priorities, and ensures alignment across engineering, architecture, product, and business stakeholders. The role serves as the operational hub for Digital Engineering by managing organizational planning, executive reporting, governance forums, technology goal tracking, and cross-functional execution.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Partner with Digital Engineering leadership to establish and continuously improve leadership operating
    rhythms, organizational priorities, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate recurring Digital Engineering leadership operating rhythms and governance forums (e.g., DEAR, Tech Connect, Engineering Manager Connect, leadership reviews, planning sessions, and executive communications), ensuring alignment, follow-through, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Digital Engineering leadership and partner teams to advance organization-wide priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure decisions and actions are carried through.
  • Own planning, tracking, and reporting for Digital Engineering strategic objectives, technology goals, KPIs, organizational health, and executive scorecards.
  • Ensure leadership decisions and cross-team commitments are clearly documented, assigned, and carried through across Digital Engineering.
  • Develop executive presentations, leadership dashboards, organizational communications, business reviews, and planning materials.
  • Coordinate engineering portfolio governance and planning activities while aligning engineering investments with business priorities.
  • Identify organizational roadblocks and recommend operational improvements that increase leadership effectiveness and execution.
  • Support Engineering Directors with ETP coordination and ensure key actions, deliverables, and organizational initiatives are completed.
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge repositories, and reporting that improve transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years supporting technology organizations in program operations, business operations, engineering operations, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting executive leadership..

Preferred Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of service strategy, operational planning, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, Agile, DevOps, and engineering operating models.
  • Experience establishing leadership operating rhythms, governance forums, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting that drive organizational insights and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to plan and coordinate across organizations with competing priorities while driving accountability and execution.
  • Strong understanding of service management practices, including performance management, risk identification, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically, align engineering priorities with business objectives, and deliver measurable value.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across engineering, product, architecture, and business teams.
  • Passion for operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused engineering culture.
