IGS is currently recruiting a remote SAP BOBJ Analytics Developer to support our work with the Department of Health and Human Services.


Assignment of Work and Travel:

This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.

Description:

Applicants should have a solid understanding and demonstrated knowledge of analytics and data views, as well as experience with software development best practices, processes, and procedures. The role includes working with data modelers and architects to effectively design, plan, and develop data analysis work products, consisting of parameterized reports, interactive Business Intelligence artifacts and data visualizations to support the growing the functionalities of personnel, time and attendance, payroll, workmen’s compensation, learning, and other administrative source information systems. Applicants will also assist in the development of associated design, training materials and report documentation.


Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):

  • Design and develop end-to-end solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud platform, including data modeling, and visualization (knowledge of planning, predictive analytics, and collaborative features is a significant advantage)
  • Design and implement data models and connections within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring data integrity, performance, and security
  • Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of SAC applications to ensure quality, performance, and usability standards are met
  • Design of new reports, interactive Business Intelligence artifacts, or data visualizations
  • Refinement of data analysis work products developed by other HHS personnel
  • Migration of data analysis work products from one reporting software tool to another, such as from Crystal Reports to Business Objects
  • Development of new, or modification of existing, metadata describing data structures and encodings to facilitate end-user discoverability and understanding
  • Development of new, or modification of existing, aggregations to facilitate analytic performance improvements
  • Definition of new, or modification of existing, roles controlling access to data analysis work products
  • Develop, update, integrate APIs/Restful APIs as deliverables for enterprise initiatives and projects
  • Packaging of data analysis work products for deployment to test and production environments
  • Analysis and resolution of defects identified in data analysis work products
  • Create or modify documentation related to data analysis work products
  • Create or modify training material related to data analysis work products
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Analytics Designer or Business Objects Developer
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite, Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with data and system management tools such as CMC, Business View Manager, UDT/IDT is required
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Smart Data Integration (SDI), Web IDE is strongly preferred Experience with APIs/RESTful APIs development (JSON, Python, OData, ETL, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience in implementing API security using OAuth, SAML, etc. is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a High-Level HHS Public Trust clearance
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement
