Job description

 

Join a team that partners closely with Investments leadership across Latin America and the Global Families Group to deliver strategy, execution, and business discipline. You'll work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive priorities forward, simplify processes, and strengthen risk and controls.

As a Business Manager in Investments (Latin America & Global Families Group), you will help identify and drive business priorities, manage complex initiatives, and ensure leadership has clear, compelling materials for key forums. You'll represent front office needs with functional partners, support audit/regulatory/compliance deliverables, and proactively strengthen the control environment. You will operate with high visibility and a strong bias toward execution, structure, and responsiveness.

Job Responsibilities 
  • Partner with Latin America and Global Families Group leadership to define priorities, expected deliverables, and execution plans
  • Lead complex initiatives end-to-end, including meeting facilitation, milestone tracking, and coordination across subject matter experts and functional partners
  • Create and deliver executive-ready presentations for leadership meetings, committees, forums, and regional/market huddles
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to align agendas and drive decisions without direct authority
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Investments business and represent its priorities in working groups
  • Represent front office needs in senior functional partner forums and ensure key priorities are understood and advanced
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and add value to business processes through continuous improvement
  • Proactively identify business risks and partner with Controls to enhance the control framework
  • Drive audit, regulatory, and compliance action plans to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Respond to front office ad hoc requests with urgency, including approvals and monitoring in partnership with global team members
  • Maintain accurate resources and documentation on internal collaboration sites
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in private banking/investments, business management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading complex initiatives and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to senior leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify risks and recommend practical actions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus strong interest in automation and AI
  • Experience supporting audit, regulatory, and compliance deliverables and driving action plans to completion
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience in business development, sales management, and/or business planning within investments or private banking
  • Track record of producing high-quality, executive-ready materials with strong attention to detail and visual standards
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to operate independently with strong prioritization and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience driving process improvements across global teams and time zones
  • Experience working effectively in a multicultural environment and influencing across diverse stakeholder groups
