Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and reporting. This role assists with gathering business requirements, developing reports and dashboards, validating data, and providing analytical support to internal stakeholders. The position contributes to business insights by helping maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting data visualization efforts, and participating in BI projects while developing technical and analytical skills.

Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions

  • Support enhancement of business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data solutions for business needs
  • Gather business requirements, assist with data validation, and the accuracy and integrity of reporting
  • Collaborate to troubleshoot reporting issues, support KPI development, and provide data-driven insights
  • Assist with solution implementation, documentation, and support of existing BI applications and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of business analytics, data mining and analysis, requirement gathering, and testing methods
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Ability to build visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar business intelligence tools
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 1-2 Years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics preferred
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud, SAP Analytics, or SAP BI Platform is preferred
