About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization experience preferred.

The Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role in supporting organizational readiness, performance, client management, and the overall success of services within the company. This role directly supports the organization's Business Intelligence function by taking a lead role in providing quality checks for data reports delivered to clients, individually completing complex analyses and ad hoc requests, assessing and communicating opportunities for data quality improvement, providing communication and product support to clients receiving pharmacy data, and delivering high-quality reports. The Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst also takes a lead role in recurring and ad hoc projects, including report UAT and developing processes to streamline and improve data communication.

The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and the ability to provide a consistently high-level of data quality assurance. The candidate must exhibit the ability to problem solve and analyze issues, as well as research root causes. The candidate must have communication skills that enable them to interact with internal and external clients in a meaningful and fruitful way.

What You'll Do:

  • Produce and transmit recurring reports for clients

  • Partner with Business Development, Implementation, and Development for drug launch data reporting creation

  • Support execution of core analytics and developing new analytics, reporting, and visualization to answer emerging questions

  • Provide reconciliation of any data issues that arise out of gaps in quality checks

  • Write queries for internal ad hoc data requests

  • Assist with data production for presentations to clients and prospective clients

  • Understand the landscape of available data/sources

  • Ensure data alignment with internal systems

  • Take lead roles in large, complex, or cross-functional projects, managing the Market and Business Intelligence team's role in concert with other stakeholders, internal and external

  • Collaborate with, develop, and train less skilled or experienced teammates on technical or operational issues, to enable them to deliver quality work on time

  • Engage with clients on highly complex or escalated requests

  • Develop and write documentation for departmental processes

  • Drive innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about data

  • Translate business questions using analytics framework determining the appropriate analytics plan and stated recommendations from analysis

  • Understand logic behind standard reporting with ability to recreate, modify, and implement new reporting as required

  • Partner with internal team members to deliver on projects as needed

Basic Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • 2+ years' experience in data analysis in the healthcare industry.

  • Efficient with SQL query tool, thorough understanding of SQL methods to query various size data sets.

  • Fluency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of healthcare experience preferred.

  • Python or similar scripting exposure preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing projects.

  • Highly collaborative individual capable of navigating a matrixed environment.

  • Proactively and independently learns and utilizes new technology, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements. Maintains current knowledge of industry technology trends.

  • Experience working in a virtual team-based environment.

  • Flexible positive attitude: Hungry to solve problems and grow within the organization.

  • Able to communicate (written, presentational, & verbally) key findings from data in a concise & actionable manner.

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Cary, NC or Fort Worth, TX.

  • Up to 10% travel nationwide.
