Job description

Quanex is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer in Akron, OH.
This position will gather requirements, develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making within our organization. This position will work closely with various members of the business to define business intelligence requirements and convert those requirements into robust and insightful reports and dashboards. Will also work with database admin team and various applications teams to architect the database back-end needed to support the reporting and dashboarding solutions.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. Quanex will not provide sponsorship for this position. Relocation will also not be offered for this position

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience with business intelligence tools and concepts.
  • Proven work experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, preferably with the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Proficiency in SQL querying, data manipulation, and database design.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience in building and managing data integration processes using SSIS, Talend, or other data integration tools.
  • Experience in with multidimensional and tabular models using SSAS.
  • Experience creating insightful reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, and CRM systems is helpful.
  • Project Management skills are helpful.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools including Visio, MS Project, Excel is helpful

The salary range for this position is $90K-$110K with the potential to earn an annual bonus.
