Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools like Power BI and similar platforms.
  • Work with data models, database queries, and create insightful, accessible reports and visualizations.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to ensure data integrity and uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements, including automation of manual tasks and optimization of data workflows.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies, assess criticality, and impact, and provide effective resolutions and workarounds.
  • Monitor and analyze key business performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations to enhance processes and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as analysts, business stakeholders, and IT—to understand data needs and deliver impactful data analysis and reporting.
  • Respond to customer’s ad-hoc report requests with impactful data and solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  •  1-2 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Analytics or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps or SAP S4 is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient in data visualization tools like SAP’s Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
  • Skilled in SQL, Python, and similar languages for building and optimizing database queries.
  • Proficient in data cleaning and transformation techniques, including handling duplicates, managing missing values, and standardizing data formats for analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with expertise in complex formulas, data analysis tools, spreadsheet optimization, and data validation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in statistics, with experience using statistical packages and analyzing large datasets across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for working with data and finding actionable insights.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and eager to tackle complex challenges.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for conveying insights and collaborating with team members.
  • Any experience with advanced analytic techniques (e.g., predictive models, regression models, cluster analysis etc.) is a plus.
