The Role:

Wanchese Fish Company is in need of innovative analysts that will develop new analysis and reporting capabilities. The Business Intelligence Analyst will connect to a range of data sources to prepare and cleanse data for the creation of best-in-class Sales, Inventory, Production and Advanced Warehousing reports and dashboards.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Explore and investigate data to develop reports and dashboards
  • Leverage industry best practices in analytics and data management
  • Determine new process improvement opportunities and best practices for the Cooke team
  • Provide technical expertise to our report and dashboard end users to support their analysis
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality and integrity issues

Skills and qualifications that are essential include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science
  • Proficient in data presentation and creation
  • Familiar with common database structure
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Knowledge or experience in 1 or more of the following: Python, Power BI, Snowflake
  • Knowledge of SQL is an asset
