Acloche is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Specialist to support the continued growth of our Western Ohio markets. This hybrid role combines remote work with regular in-person engagement across Central Ohio.
This position is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering customized workforce solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven success in B2B sales and relationship building.
  • Experience in account management and client development.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development:
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities and key decision-makers.
  • Meet with clients to assess workforce needs and recommend tailored staffing solutions.
  • Effectively present and sell Acloche’s services and value proposition.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials.
  • Represent Acloche at client meetings, networking events, and community engagements.
  • Evaluate prospective client environments, including safety practices and history.
  • Maintain a strong local presence through networking and market engagement.

Collaboration with Operations:
  • Partner with Operations to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • Support account development initiatives and ongoing client growth strategies.
  • Provide market insights, including competitor activity and emerging trends.
  • Lead negotiations for major accounts in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Clearly communicate client expectations, job requirements, and timelines.
  • Ensure accurate job descriptions and alignment between client needs and candidate placement.
  • Relay contract terms, SLAs, and client expectations to Operations.

Administrative:
  • Lead preparation of RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses in collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage documentation for credit applications, contracts, and agreements.
  • Maintain an active and organized sales pipeline.
  • Accurately document all client interactions and activities within CRM systems.
  • Support additional business and administrative initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales success.
  • Experience in staffing or service-based sales is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly throughout Western Ohio.
