Description
Teneo is seeking a highly strategic and commercially minded Head of Business Intelligence and Growth for our Transactions & Strategic Situations team.
Serving as a trusted advisor and right hand to the leadership team, this individual will be responsible for enabling sustainable revenue growth, enhancing business development efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination across active client engagements, transaction opportunities, strategic initiatives, and internal operations.
This role sits at the center of transaction activity -- connecting leadership priorities, business intelligence, and business development activities. The successful candidate will help ensure the practice operates with discipline, visibility, and accountability while supporting ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence and Growth Strategy
  • Support enterprise growth strategy, partnering with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Monitor market activity, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to support growth initiatives.
  • Lead the design and development of end-to-end data analytics that meet business needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain business development content, thought leadership materials, client-ready presentations, credentials, case studies, and other strategic marketing assets that support revenue growth and market positioning.

Leadership Partnership & Enablement
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the leadership team, helping shape and execute the practice's strategic priorities and growth agenda.
  • Coordinate leadership communications, track key initiatives, and drive follow-through on actions related to business priorities and strategic projects.
  • Leverage AI, emerging technologies, and data-driven insights to enhance business operations, improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and support innovative client solutions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic communications, investment banking, technology, professional services, corporate strategy, chief of staff, business management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and willingness to deploy AI responsibly with accountability.
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional project management and operational leadership capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze pipeline, revenue, and business performance data with Excel.
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simply presentations.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Location: New York City, minimum 3-days in office requirement. Evening and weekend work, including travel, may periodically be required.

Base Salary Range
$180,000 - $225,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).
Total Compensation Package
Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.
