CTZAR is recruiting a Business Director for a permanent position based out of NYC. The Business Director serves as the primary strategic partner for clients, overseeing the execution of integrated communications initiatives while identifying and cultivating opportunities for business growth. This role is responsible for building long-term client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns, and driving new business development throughout the U.S. market.
Client Management & Account Leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships and providing strategic counsel across all aspects of communications.
  • Partner with clients to develop and implement comprehensive social media and digital communication strategies, including owned, earned, and paid media initiatives.
  • Oversee content strategy and production, ensuring creative deliverables align with client objectives, brand positioning, and campaign goals.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating internal resources and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications, proactively identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations to optimize results and maximize client value.
  • Establish budgets that ensure the financial viability of the agency and ensure their respect.
  • Supervise your team on a daily basis: ensure the development of the skills of your team members, help them achieve their goals, and ensure the quality of their tasks.
  • Develop margins, supervise negotiations, and financial management of your account.
  • Define realistic KPIs for each of your projects and oversee their tracking.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to position the agency for continued growth.

Business Development & Market Growth
  • Identify, cultivate, and pursue new business opportunities within the U.S. market.
  • Develop strategies to generate new client relationships through networking, industry events, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and execute business development plans aligned with agency growth objectives.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across agency services.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to increase brand awareness and generate qualified business opportunities.

Candidate profile:
  • 10-12 years of experience in a creative social media, digital, or advertising agency, with prior management experience.
  • A strong interest in digital and social media, and a good understanding of the strategic challenges brands face on these channels.
  • Proactive, with excellent listening skills, you understand clients' evolving needs.
  • You are enthusiastic, dynamic, and thoughtful: you enjoy sharing your experience to help grow your team.
  • You demonstrate good strategic and creative judgment, as well as a strong sense of aesthetics.

SALARY: $140k-$160k
