Job description

Job Summary:
Fiffik Law Group, a tech-forward statewide law firm, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing business and transactional practice. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or entry-level attorney eager to build hands-on experience in business law, with a strong focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
The Associate Attorney will work closely with experienced partners on a range of matters, including business formation, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, real estate transactions, and general business advisory services. A significant portion of this role involves reviewing and revising commercial agreements to protect client interests and mitigate risk. The Associate Attorney will also gain exposure to other areas of the firm's general practice, including but not limited to business related matters and litigation support.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, resourceful, and business-minded-an attorney who enjoys diving into the details of contracts while understanding clients' broader strategic goals. This role offers direct mentorship, meaningful client interaction, and long-term professional growth within a collaborative and supportive firm culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service contracts, vendor agreements, operating agreements, purchase agreements, and NDAs.
  • Analyze contract terms to identify legal and business risks, recommend revisions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Assist with business formation, corporate structuring, governance matters, and general business advisory services.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, real estate transactions, and other transactional matters.
  • Provide practical, business-focused legal counsel to entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate clients.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties in connection with negotiations and related matters.
  • Assist with contract-related disputes and provide litigation support as needed based on client matters and firm workflow.
  • Manage transactional and case files to ensure timely drafting, organization, and execution of legal documents while collaborating closely with firm partners.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or pending bar results).
  • 0-3 years of experience in a law firm or legal setting (new graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Resourceful and proactive problem-solver-comfortable learning by doing.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Opportunity to earn a bonus on retained referrals that become clients.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
  • Paid time off and professional development opportunities.
  • Mentorship and career growth in a collaborative firm environment with a supportive team culture that values work-life balance.

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
