Job description

Job Description:

At Remitly, we believe everyone deserves the freedom to access, move, and manage their money wherever life takes them. Since 2011, we've tirelessly delivered on our promise to customers sending money globally, providing secure, simple, and reliable ways to manage their money, ensuring true peace of mind. Whether it's supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we're not just here to move money- we're here to move our global customers forward.
We're looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that's you and you're ready to do the most meaningful work of your career-we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders.

Remitly is looking for a precise, customer-centric Executive Business Partner to support two executives in our Growth organization: the VP of Americas Marketing and Global Brand and the VP of Customer Success. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-growing, mission-driven company. AI is changing what this role can be, and we want someone excited to lead that change, not just keep pace with it. As automation takes the busywork off your plate, you'll spend less time on the transactional and more time as a true strategic partner: shaping priorities, solving ambiguous problems, and driving impact across the org. If you love finding new ways to do things and get a thrill out of testing new AI tools, this role is built for you.

The role is based in Seattle and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with potential for more depending on events and critical onsite meetings.

You Will
  • Provide seamless, proactive calendar management, including scheduling external, internal, and highly sensitive meetings across multiple teams and time zones, while managing each executive's time and priorities effectively.
  • Support the rhythm of the business for both a Marketing and Brand organization and a Customer Success organization, including team meetings, planning cycles, and leadership offsites.
  • Coordinate logistics for marketing and brand moments, campaigns, and events, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Support the operating cadence of both executives, helping keep priorities, action items, and follow-ups on track across a global team.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, build efficient workflows, and support initiatives across the team, freeing up executive time for higher-value work. Test new tools early and share what works with the broader EBP community.
  • Drive organization-wide process improvements, simplifying or eliminating processes that are no longer effective.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to both executives, earning trust through integrity and managing sensitive information with discretion.
  • Communicate proactively to ensure nothing gets missed while partnering with two leaders who work in different time zones.
  • Act as a culture leader in our Seattle office and add to the energy of the team.
  • Partner on the creation and implementation of employee engagement plans, with a focus on employee recognition, DEI, and workplace belonging.
  • Help create efficient, repeatable processes through template creation and collaboration site management, including wiki and shared drive management.
  • Plan end-to-end, detailed domestic and international travel itineraries.
  • Organize and prioritize time-sensitive information to ensure action items are handled.
  • Manage the coordination and submission of expense reports, invoices, and POs.
  • Partner with other EBPs on events, strategic projects, and cultural initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across the EBP community by building strong relationships, sharing best practices, providing back-up coverage, and leaning in to support the overall A-team, partnering proactively with peers to solve challenges and deliver the best support to our executive team.
You Have
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with VP+ executives as their strategic partner.
  • Alignment to our mission and values, and a track record of role-modeling our cultural values.
  • In-depth experience working with VP+ leaders and collaborating across the organization and with external partners.
  • Experience supporting fast-moving teams such as Marketing, Brand, or Customer Success is a plus.
  • Experience driving work independently in an ambiguous, high-growth organization.
  • Strong communication skills, conveying ideas clearly and collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Receptiveness to direct feedback, taking swift, proactive steps to implement improvements and drive results.
  • The ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Working knowledge of contemporary collaboration and productivity tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfort adopting new AI and automation tools quickly, with a habit of testing and sharing what works.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $88,000.00 to $110,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
