Job description

The expected salary range for this position is $106,400.00 - $125,010.60. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview
As a Senior Business Enablement Specialist you will lead the implementation, optimization, and adoption of business processes, systems, and workflows that enable the Church & Influencer (C&I) team to scale effectively. You will serve as a key partner in driving fundraising excellence through process improvement, change management, workflow design, project coordination, and business systems enablement. This role acts as the primary representative of C&I business requirements, ensuring processes, systems, and cross-functional initiatives support team goals, user experience, and sustainable growth.
What will you do?
• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion's ministry in prayer.
• Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ's mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks, and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion's Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children through Compassion's internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
• Uphold and engage in Compassion's core Cultural Behaviors.
Intake & Request Management
  • Ongoing oversight and day to day management of intake/request systems post implementation.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and readiness reviews for IT requests.

Workflow & Process Mapping
  • Ensure cross-functional procedural alignment between internal and external teams.
  • Map end to end C&I fundraising workflows from cultivation to retention including handoffs with other C&I and Compassion teams.
  • Create or oversee mapping of C&I's end-to-end fundraising workflows (outside of the scope of Supporter Operations).
  • Represent C&I's business needs to broader Compassion teams on process mapping that C&I uses but does not own.

Process Improvement & Problem Identification
  • Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and lack of clarity in C&I's processes.
  • Initiate, oversee, and manage C&I's end to end process improvements.
  • Represent C&I's end to end business needs with other C&I and Compassion teams.
  • Represent C&I's business needs, consults with Operational Excellence on high level or cross functional projects or process improvements. Aligns with Operational Excellence ministry standards.

Change Management & Rollout Support
  • Coordinate or equip C&I staff to coordinate rollout plans and change management when processes evolve.
  • Coordinate or equip C&I staff to coordinate rollout plans and change management when new products, resources, or tools to ensure they are ready for C&I to use effectively.
  • Consult with the Change Management Team on high level projects and cross functional work as needed.

Internal Project Coordination
  • May coordinate internal, non-cross functional C&I projects and/or equip support staff to coordinate internal C&I projects dependent on size and scope.
  • Design and oversee maintenance of an overarching C&I project repository to bring visibility to what projects are in queue and in flight, key POCs, and high-level timing.

SOPs and Documentation
  • Create standard operation procedures (SOPs) and playbooks for C&I.
  • Create or oversee creation of process documentation that is outside of the scope of Operational Excellence.
  • Create or oversee training and/or job aid documentation for C&I that is outside of the scope of Fundraising Readiness and BSS.

What do you bring?
  • 10+ years of experience leading business process improvement, business operations, business systems, sales operations, fundraising operations, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success implementing and optimizing complex end-to-end business processes and workflows, including stakeholder alignment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Preferred: Strong experience with Salesforce CRM and leveraging technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, business outcomes, and user adoption.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, gather and translate business requirements, identify process impacts, and drive scalable solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical, project coordination, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Fundraising, or sales environment experience strongly preferred; Lean Six Sigma, Agile, certifications preferred.
