Position Summary:

Our Energy Efficiency division specializes in auditing, designing, managing, and implementing energy-efficiency projects of all sizes. These projects typically include lighting and mechanical solutions. We also assist clients in leveraging utility incentive programs to help fund projects, ensuring maximum return on investment.


The Energy Efficiency Consultant will play a key role in conducting energy audits, preparing and submitting incentive paperwork to utility companies, and presenting project proposals to clients. While CET provides marketing and technical support, the consultant is also responsible for prospecting and networking to generate new business opportunities.

Requirements:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

· Perform on-site audits of lighting and/or mechanical systems

· Generate customer leads and achieve sales targets within the Massachusetts territory

· Prepare detailed reports and customer proposals

· Maintain accurate project documentation

· Network within the industry to identify opportunities

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships

· Develop and sustain relationships with key vendors


Qualifications & Preferences:

· Proven experience conducting energy efficiency audits

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent documentation abilities

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office productivity tools

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

· 2–5 years of experience in lighting or mechanical sales

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
